Hello, Summer!

Here it is, the time all parents dread look forward to - summer vacation. Weeks of trying to figure out what to do with your children while still doing all of the other things on the ever growing TO DO list.

I am there with you, and if you are reading this you are probably like me,  looking for options to provide a fun but educational break for your preschooler. Anal person that I am, I have done the work to help you provide your three - five year old with an educational but fun summer break (without stress on your part).

Because I obsessively need to theme things, I have themed eleven weeks of summer. For each week I will provide a craft project, tv and movies, songs and movement, books, sight words, games and experiments. I have scoured the internet looking for fun options to do with the kids and I think I have found some winners - there are incredible creative people out there. Each weekday I will give you a new item to cover with your child - making it simple and easy to follow. I will also make it relevant to the time - including Father's Day and the Summer Olympics making it a one stop shop :)

This year's themes:
Summer (seasons)
Night Sky (space and beyond)
Weather
Beach/Bodies of Water
Holidays
Summer Long Ago - Dinosaurs
Travel (things that go)
Temperature (hot and cold)
Water Animals
Flowers (senses, colors)
Back to School

I hope you will join my family and if you do, make sure to comment and let us know how it is going. I will be sharing comical stories of our progress.

Happy Summer Vacation!
